Sex toys now have their very own International Standard ISO document. This document specifies safety and user information requirements relating to the materials and design for manufactured products intended for sexual use. It covers manufactured products that are intended to come in direct contact with genitals and/or the anus. Some of the criteria that toys must meet include mechanical hazards, vibration level, electrical safety, surface temperature, corners & edges, biocompatibility, and leaning & maintenance. ISO 3533:2021 was published in September 2021 so we should soon begin to see sex toys being built to meet the ISO guidelines. https://www.iso.org/standard/79631.html?browse=tc
LOS ANGELES - On the heels of OnlyFans announcing the blocking of sexually explicit video content beginning October 2021, Bellesa confirms plans that they will be launching a new Creators Platform on Bellesa Plus dedicated to supporting sex workers and video content creators. Bellesa Plus, Bellesa’s Netflix of Porn streaming service, rose to prominence following its launch in December of 2020 as part of a marketing campaign with Cardi B. In February of 2021, Bellesa Plus unveiled its “Pay What You Want” payment plan that allows users to pay what they want for ethical porn. With its feature set continuously expanding, including the introduction of new reality TV porn series, speculation about an OnlyFans Alternative within the platform has grown stronger. “Building a platform on the backs of sex workers and then leaving said sex workers high and dry- it’s a tale as old as time,” states Michelle Shnaidman, CEO and Founder of Bellesa. “We at Bellesa are deeply dedicated to both the empowerment of content creators and the destimatization of sex work”. The new Creators Platform will launch on Bellesa Plus in Fall 2021. Content creators will be able to earn money (and tips) from users who subscribe to their content on Bellesa Plus, placing the power in the hands of creators. Bellesa has continued to emphasize its focus on investing directly into performers, exemplified by their BIPOC Creators Program whereby there is a monthly investment of $20,000 towards the funding of projects from BIPOC creators. “Sex work is work. It’s a shame that decisions like this are being made for investment viability. I’m proud to work with a company that truly values and supports the people who create the content that almost every adult sitting at home consumes,” says Jacky St. James, Director of Bellesa House and Bellesa Blind Date. Content Creators can reserve their spot on Bellesa Plus by entering their email here.

Ok so you don't often hear much about people complaining that their partner is too big, but it can be a real problem for both vaginal and anal sex. They cost $65 for a set of 4. https://ohnut.co/collections/all-products/products/ohnut-set We haven't tested it out yet, but we'll report back when we do.

Sex Tech saw a huge boom in 2020, driven by lockdowns as a result of COVID-19, and a great acceptance of sexual wellness products becoming mainstream. A new study from Juniper Research has found there was over 36 million connected sex tech devices in use in 2020; rising from 19 million in 2019 and representing a growth of 87%. The new research, Sextech & Sexual Wellness: Market Strategies & Emerging Opportunities 2020-2025, identified recent lockdown measures in multiple countries, high confidence in online retail, and increased spare time as key drivers to this short-term growth. During lockdown periods, consumer spend on sextech devices increased to simulate intimacy, without breaching social distancing measures. The new Juniper Research report predicted that long-term growth in demand for sex tech devices, such as connected vibrators and kegel exercisers, will be driven by their increasing inclusion in the concept of sexual wellness. Sexual wellness is an increasingly mainstream concept of improving sexual wellbeing, which can be supported by digital content and devices. It anticipates that changing attitudes towards sexual wellness will lead to increasing demand for connected devices from consumers, which will in turn lead to greater availability from retailers. This change of attitudes, along with heightened availability, will drive the sextech device market value to over $9 billion by 2025, up from $3.8 billion in 2020. The research anticipates there will be 1 connected sex tech device per every 14 adults in North America by 2025; representing over 21 million devices. It anticipates that connected vibrators will account for over 98% of the connected devices in use in the region over the next five years; owing to rising user familiarity and the success of specialist retailers.
